Hi and welcome to my personal website!

This is the place where I gather the memories of my adventures in the engineering world. Everything started in 2006 when I enrolled the Mechanical Engineering course at the University of Florence and a lot happened in the meanwhile, but I think that the best is yet to come!

My main areas of interest include gas turbines, heat transfer, combustion, computational fluid dynamics, additive manufacturing, design optimization and innovation in general.

I enjoy the most when my contribution has a direct impact on a real product, i.e. when I succeed to solve a problem, to enable a certain technology or to increase performance in general. This can make the difference for the people I work with and ultimately for the society, as in the case of the extensive activity done to develop low pollutant combustors.
