  • LEMCOTEC: Meeting and Workshop in Potsdam

Posted at 9:00 pm by Lorenzo Mazzei, on December 8, 2016

    6-8 December 2016

The meeting of the project was held in Potsdam, a nice city close to Berlin (have you ever heard of the Sanssouci Park?).

Attending the meetings for the first time, I was impressed by the scale of the project. LEMCOTEC included most of the aeronautics industries in Europe and the most excellent universities and research centres in this field.
The projected lasted 69 months and cost roughly 69 million Euros.

The typical collaborative spirit of the EU-funded research programs was confirmed by a widely participated public workshop where the coordinators of other projects came to disseminate their results.
